The dynamic all-wheel steering supports the driver with active steering intervention on the front and rear axles. The vehicle driving dynamics are increased over the entire speed range. At low speeds, the steering effort reduces for the driver and the turning circle of the vehicle is reduced by counter-directional rear wheel steering. Vehicle handling is improved. In the higher speed range, the response behavior and the driving stability are improved by a targeted adjustment of the steering angles on the front and rear axles (parallel steering). Driver steering movements are implemented quickly and precisely.
